born and developed by the conjunction between a Son's Sea Kayak experience and a Father's
deep knowledge about wood manufacturing.
Today, after one fully busy year of design studies and heavy tests, gradually more
demanding and more sophisticated, and after many practical laborious tests carried out
directly on the field, Father and Son are proud for achieved results.
At the moment they build just Sea Kayak Paddles with straight and aligned shovels, so
paddles cannot be dismantled. One of the near future AVATAKŪ PAGAIE
targets is to produce the full actual Paddle Collection on the dismantled
version.

Wood treatment, with hepossidic resins composed by a double component poliuretanic
varnish, guarantees the best waterproof protection.
Paddles extremities are encapsulated and reinforced with a really strong and transparent
fiberglass weft. This additional and extremely necessary protection is indispensable
during the critical landing and taking off phases. These new extremities protection don't
cover the original wood color and, even with these protections, Paddles maintain an
incredible and unique elegant look.
Paddle's body structure has composed from seven to nine stratification of the best and
carefully selected kind of woods available. Characteristics of wood grains are really
important to guarantee the crushproof, slightly containing also the total weight.
